The Yamaha RT1 (360cc) was introduced in 1970 as a larger, "Open class" counterpart to the groundbreaking 250cc DT1, solidifying Yamaha’s enduro lineup. This air-cooled, two-stroke single-cylinder bike produced 30 hp, featured a 5-speed gearbox, and was designed for both street-legal use and rugged off-road performance, becoming a highly popular and collectible "big bore" machine of the era American import first registered in the UK in 2014 .
